Book Music is the European version of making mechanical music medium for organs around Europe & these are actually similar to piano rolls, but book music is by heavy composition board, using perforated holes, & these are presented & played inside the folded zig-zig style. Paper rolls were never popular inside Europe, then a book music was an instant standard of perforating ordered music. This mechanical medium could lone exist as witnessed within European h&/crank organs and fairground organs.
